1.
Inclusive Microschool (12-18+)

Our Inclusive Microschool is a small, nurturing learning community designed for neurodiverse youth and young adults ages 12–18+. We honor every learner’s unique rhythm, gifts, and ways of knowing — centering belonging, creativity, and holistic growth over standardized outcomes.

This microschool provides an inclusive environment where students with and without special needs learn side by side through hands-on, project-based learning that integrates art, culture, nature, language, and life skills. Lessons are adapted to meet diverse learning styles, emphasizing social-emotional development, communication, and real-world experiences.

Our approach is relationship-based, trauma-informed, and culturally grounded, drawing from Indigenous and community-centered values of respect, reciprocity, and interdependence. We believe every learner deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated.

Students engage in small group projects, community outings, creative arts, cooking and wellness practices that build confidence and connection. Families are partners in the learning journey, with regular opportunities for collaboration, storytelling, and celebration of student growth.

If your child is on an IEP/504 Accommodations, please schedule a 1-HR Free Review of Needs and Conference.

This is a 4-hour long class offered once per week.  After assessing your child's strengths and challenges, we will design curriculum that supports them over the next 6 weeks to learn/improve Reading, Writing, Social Communication, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) through Hands-On Activities.
*Our classroom is sensory friendly and allows for frequent breaks to reset and reconnect.  We are accepting 4 additional students (we have 2 students currently signed up.)

2.  Inclusive Spanish Club (Ages 5-12) (12-18+)

Our Inclusive Spanish Club is a welcoming space where youth ages 5–12 and 12-18+of all abilities — including those with special

needs — can learn and experience the beauty of the Spanish language and culture through connection, creativity, and joy.

In this small, supportive group, participants explore Spanish through music, art, conversation, cooking, games, and storytelling, focusing on communication, confidence, and cultural pride rather than memorization or perfection. Every session honors each individual’s pace and learning style, creating a safe and affirming space to grow socially and emotionally while having fun.

The club celebrates Latinx and Indigenous cultures, offering bilingual learning and cultural activities that highlight traditions, foods, holidays, and songs from Spanish-speaking communities.

Our goal is to nurture inclusion, friendship, and language learning in a way that feels empowering and accessible for everyone.
Snacks and materials are included.  It is a 1-hr long class offered 1 day per week.

Participants will learn new techniques in painting, clay, collage, and mixed media while also exploring nature-inspired, cultural, and seasonal art themes. We focus on the process, not perfection — helping children build confidence, emotional awareness, and mindfulness through art.

4.  S.T.E.A.M. Club (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics)  (Ages 5-12)

Our Small Group S.T.E.A.M. Club invites curious minds ages 5–12 to explore the magic where Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics meet creativity and imagination. Each session blends hands-on discovery with play, collaboration, and problem-solving — helping children learn how the world works while celebrating how they see it.

Through small group activities, students experiment, build, design, and create using natural materials, recycled items, and simple tools. Projects may include nature-based science experiments, beginner engineering builds, art-infused math games, and cultural science storytelling.

We emphasize teamwork, curiosity, and confidence — encouraging each child to think critically, ask questions, and bring their whole self to the learning process. Every project is adaptable and accessible to different learning styles and abilities, ensuring all children feel included and capable.

This is a nurturing environment that values imagination, diversity, and innovation. Students will see how art and science connect to their daily lives, their culture, and their community.

Step into a restorative space where art and ancestral plant medicine meet. This hands-on workshop invites participants to reconnect with the cycles of nature, creativity, and renewal. Through the gentle rhythm of painting and the grounding presence of medicinal herbs, we’ll explore what it means to bloom again — mind, body, and spirit.

Together, we’ll begin with honoring the wisdom of plants used for emotional balance and healing. Participants will choose a healing plant (sage, lavender, calendula, chamomile) and paint intuitively — capturing its color, texture, or energy using watercolors, herbal samples, and natural pigments on canvas or paper.

Guided reflection and storytelling will open our hearts before we move into an intuitive painting session inspired by the natural world — leaves, flowers, roots, and all the unseen growth beneath the soil.

This is more than an art class — it’s a ceremony of self-care and renewal. You’ll leave with a finished painting, a deeper connection to your inner artist, and knowledge of plant allies that can support your wellness journey through each new season.

9.  Art & Nourish Gatherings for Birthworkers and Perinatal Families

(Art, Craft, Workshops, Meals and Connections)

The Crafty Crow is a community-based, BIPOC- and Indigenous-led entity dedicated to supporting birthworkers, perinatal professionals, families, and communities through culturally rooted, holistic care.

Our mission is to uplift and sustain the people who provide perinatal support by creating spaces for rest, creativity, and collective healing. We also wish to support perinatal families in bonding with their children, onboarding new skills and taking time for rest and art.

Join us for a series of restorative, art-centered workshops designed to address burnout, compassion fatigue, and secondary trauma among doulas, midwives, lactation counselors, and perinatal support professionals. Through creative expression, mindfulness practices, and community sharing, all those associated with birthing families will access tools for self-care, resilience, and emotional healing.

Perinatal families will be invited (at times) into a safe space held by birthworkers and be able to connect with other families on various topics of interest while engaged in art based activities.

This is a relaxed, nurturing evening of creativity and community. Our adult art and craft class invites you to unwind with a hands-on project designed to spark joy and self-expression.

It is a 2-Hr Class in a larger group format with 1-2 instructors and 10-15 participants.  Sip on refreshing mocktails made with fresh herbs and fruits (or warm beverages with yummy toppings and additions) and enjoy delicious light snacks, while letting your imagination flow. No art experience is needed — just come as you are and reconnect with your creative spirit in good company.
