STEAM Club Session #2
Hands-on discovery with play, collaboration, and problem-solving
Service Description
1:30pm -2:30pm Session #1 Dates: Every Friday 12/27 (make up for 12/26), 1/2, 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30 Our Small Group S.T.E.A.M. Club invites curious minds ages 5–12 to explore the magic where Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics meet creativity and imagination. Each session blends hands-on discovery with play, collaboration, and problem-solving — helping children learn how the world works while celebrating how they see it. Through small group activities, students experiment, build, design, and create using natural materials, recycled items, and simple tools. Projects may include nature-based science experiments, beginner engineering builds, art-infused math games, and cultural science storytelling. We emphasize teamwork, curiosity, and confidence — encouraging each child to think critically, ask questions, and bring their whole self to the learning process. Every project is adaptable and accessible to different learning styles and abilities, ensuring all children feel included and capable. This is a nurturing environment that values imagination, diversity, and innovation. Students will see how art and science connect to their daily lives, their culture, and their community. Materials are included. *Some sliding scale may be available ($100-150 per 6 week session)
